Baseball Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

Independence fell victim to St. Thomas Aquinas and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss last Friday.

Independence's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they pushed their record up to 12-15 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Independence will challenge Bonnabel at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they will square off against Fontainebleau at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
