Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Northland

If Beechcroft wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Northland, they should've done a better job of containing Owan Mburugu. The Vikings blew past the Cougars 65-44 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Mburugu, who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last six games he's played.

Keondre Tubbs was another key player, putting up eight points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 41% three-point shooting accuracy.
