Basketball Recap: Stonewall's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Stonewall had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mill Creek Bullfrogs by a score of 50-42. That's two games straight that the Longhorns have won by exactly eight points.

Stonewall has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points per game. As for Mill Creek, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 11-3 record.

Coincidentally, Stonewall and Mill Creek will both be playing Bennington the next time they take the court. Stonewall will head out to face Bennington at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Mill Creek will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
