Baseball Recap: Flint Hill Huskies vs. St. James Saints
Flint Hill scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They put the hurt on the St. James Saints with a sharp 16-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Flint Hill.
Flint Hill got a massive performance out of Connor Ryan, who scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Meeks, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Flint Hill's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for St. James, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
Flint Hill will head out on the road to face off against Sidwell Friends at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Flint Hill is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for St. James, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Dominion at 4:30 p.m.
