Softball Game Preview: Clarkston Wolves vs. Lakeland Eagles

The Clarkston Wolves will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Lakeland Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeland took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Clarkston, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Clarkston got the win against Chippewa Valley by a conclusive 17-8.

Meanwhile, Lakeland came up short against Walled Lake Northern on Wednesday, falling 19-8. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alyssa Goldman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Emily Searle was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

The victory got Clarkston back to even at 1-1. As for Lakeland, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
