Basketball Game Preview: Washington Warriors vs. Marlow Outlaws

Washington and Marlow are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Washington Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Marlow Outlaws at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.

Last Friday, Washington strolled past Pauls Valley with points to spare, taking the game 58-42. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Panthers are ranked 202nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Marlow slipped by Sulphur 34-33 on Saturday.

Marlow's record now sits at 8-10. As for Washington, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1.

Everything came up roses for Washington against Marlow in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 65-19 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Washington since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
