Basketball Recap: DePaul College Prep Comes Up Short

DePaul College Prep lost against Loyola Academy back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The DePaul College Prep Rams received a blow as they fell 59-40 to the Loyola Academy Ramblers. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Ramblers are ranked 11th).

DePaul College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Loyola Academy, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

DePaul College Prep will challenge Milwaukee Academy of Science at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Loyola Academy, they will square off against Montini Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
