Basketball Recap: Groton-Dunstable Comes Up Short

Groton-Dunstable lost against Shepherd Hill Regional back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Groton-Dunstable Crusaders took a 51-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shepherd Hill Regional Rams.

Groton-Dunstable has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Shepherd Hill Regional, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Groton-Dunstable will face off against Quabbin Regional at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for Shepherd Hill Regional, they will challenge Lunenburg at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
