Softball Recap: Fisher Takes a Loss

Fisher suffered their biggest loss since May 6, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against the LeRoy Panthers, falling 13-2. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Bunnies' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Fisher saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Schulze, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was Schulze's first of the season.

Fisher's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for LeRoy, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Fisher will challenge Tremont at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for LeRoy, they will take on Cerro Gordo/Bement at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Broncos have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season.
