Volleyball Recap: Olympus' Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Olympus waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the West Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-23, 25-27, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why West lost, don't look at Ethan Bigelow. Despite the final result, he had 22 digs and two aces. Bigelow is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Olympus pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.
