Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Hillers vs. Chartiers Valley Colts

For the second straight game, Trinity will face off against Chartiers Valley. Trinity will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Chartiers Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Trinity will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Chartiers Valley, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Trinity had just enough and edged out Chartiers Valley 6-5 on Monday.

Jackson Burt looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Matthew Robaugh was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.

Chartiers Valley now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Trinity, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Trinity skirted past Chartiers Valley 6-5 when the teams last played on Monday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trinity since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
