Volleyball Recap: Tulare Union Falls Despite Big Games from Cassidy Ledezma and Kylah Cordova + How To Watch

Tulare Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mission Oak Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tribe of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Tulare Union took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-16, 22-25, 23-25, 25-11, 15-12.

Kylah Cordova and Cassidy Ledezma certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Cordova had 26 digs and one assist, while Ledezma had 13 digs.

Leading Mission Oak to victory were Dannee Faria and Kylie Mendes. Faria had 25 assists and 16 digs, while Mendes had 27 digs and four assists. Those 25 assists gave Faria a new career-high. Jaidyn Soares was another key player, getting 12 assists and 11 digs.

Tulare Union's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Mission Oak, the victory snapped their losing streak at five matches and leaves them with a 6-14 record.

Tulare Union has already played their next matchup (against Dinuba), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mission Oak also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Hanford.
