Basketball Game Preview: Hale Eagles vs. Alcona Tigers

The Hale Eagles will head out to take on the Alcona Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hale is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Monday, Hale ended up a good deal behind Tawas Area and lost 70-51.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Alcona beat Mio-Au Sable 35-31 on Monday.

Hale's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3. As for Alcona, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Hale was taken down by Alcona 74-22 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Hale was down 44-11.
