Soccer Preview: Laconia Takes on Stevens

The Laconia Sachems will face off against the Stevens Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stevens is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.2 goals per game this season.

Laconia is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Belmont on Wednesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Stevens faced Hopkinton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Cardinals walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hawks. Stevens' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

The victory improved Stevens' record to 4-0. Laconia's draw gives them a new season record of 3-1-1.
