Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt lost against Madera South on April 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rough Riders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stallions.

While Roosevelt had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 19-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Madera South, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 25-17 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will take on Reedley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Madera South, they will face off against Hoover at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
