Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln-King Academy). They were the clear victors by a 14-7 margin over the Detroit Community Hurricanes on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-0 on April 9th.

Lincoln-King Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5. As for Detroit Community, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln-King Academy will host Summit Academy North at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Summit Academy North's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so Lincoln-King Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Detroit Community, they will be playing at home against Henry Ford Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
