Lake Fenton entered their tilt with Owosso on Thursday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They blew past the Trojans 9-1. Considering the Blue Devils have won 13 matches by more than seven  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Maddie Stanton (2027) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Lake Fenton's win was  their seventh straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 23-3.
