Baseball Recap: Lakewood Park Christian Takes a Loss

Lakewood Park Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-0 to the Lakeland Lakers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 12-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Lakewood Park Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lakeland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Lakewood Park Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 21-1 win against Fort Wayne North Side on the 12th. As for Lakeland, they will head out on the road to face off against Prairie Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Lakers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
