Jesuit is a perfect 10-0 against Beaverton since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Crusaders will be playing at home against the Beavers at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Friday, Jesuit blew past Westview, posting a 35-7 win. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Wildcats are ranked 46th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jesuit's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Wilson, who rushed for 88 yards and one touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 95 yards and one TD. Luke Ortner was another key rusher, rushing for 95 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Jesuit proved: they limited Westview to a paltry zero yards per carry. That's the most yards per carry they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Meanwhile, Beaverton got the win against Southridge on Friday by a conclusive 40-14. The Beavers haven't had any issues with the Skyhawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jesuit now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Beaverton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Jesuit against Beaverton when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 61-26 win. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Beavers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
