Volleyball Recap: Minster Comes Up Short

The Minster Wildcats came up short against the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans on Saturday and fell 3-1.

Minster started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-14, 25-20, 25-21.

Alyse Lamm paced Minster's offense, picking up eight kills. Lamm got some help from Lauren Tyler and her 23 assists. Tyler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Minster's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ottawa-Glandorf, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minster will take on St. John's at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ottawa-Glandorf, they will head out to square off against St. Henry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
