Basketball Recap: City View Comes Up Short

City View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 59-52 to the Iowa Park Hawks. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 92-62.

City View's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Iowa Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

City View will take on Jacksboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Iowa Park, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Iowa Park Hawks take on the Holliday Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Holliday is on a five-game streak of home wins, Iowa Park a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
