Football Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

MacArthur extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 2-8. They were beaten by the Benjamin Davis Falcons 59-6. The Generals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-0.

Ryan Smith threw for 130 yards and one TD. Joshua Portillo was his top target, picking up 63 receiving yards. On the ground, Trinidad Espinoza rushed for 36 yards.

As for Benjamin Davis, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won five contests by 23 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Benjamin Davis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nicholas Tramble 11, who rushed for 116 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries. I'Marcus Butler also helped out with an impressive 118 receiving yards.

MacArthur does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Benjamin Davis, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 24-0 loss against The Woodlands on the 15th.
