Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Middleton last Monday, Trinity Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Trinity Christian Academy Lions came up short against the Bolivar Central Tigers on Tuesday, falling 10-2. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Abby Davis was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Trinity Christian Academy dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Bolivar Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Trinity Christian Academy Lions face off against Halls Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season. Bolivar Central will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bolton at 5:00 p.m. on April 1st.
