Football Recap: Troy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Horseheads

Troy kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost to the Horseheads Blue Raiders on the road by a 26-8 margin. While losing is never fun, the Flying Horses can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while the Blue Raiders are ranked 90th).

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Troy will host Mohonasen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Horseheads, they will welcome Baldwinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
