Softball Recap: River Valley Comes Up Short

River Valley lost against Brandywine on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mustangs came up short against the Bobcats, falling 11-1. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Addy Lynch made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Lynch is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

This is the second loss in a row for River Valley and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Brandywine, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Looking ahead, River Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Eau Claire at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brandywine, they will head out on the road to square off against Bridgman at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Bobcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
