The St. Joseph Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Stockdale Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Joseph will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
St. Joseph is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over Bullard. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory St. Joseph has posted since April 18th.

Taylor Mediano spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on eight hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Annalyssa Cota was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
St. Joseph hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, while Stockdale put up some runs last Friday, the same can't be said for Liberty. The Mustangs blew past the Patriots 10-0.
The result came thanks to Nevaeh Garcia's shutout, as she gave up just three hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aamya Harrison, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Urbano, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and five RBI.
St. Joseph's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Stockdale, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.
St. Joseph skirted past Stockdale 3-2 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
