Baseball Recap: Percy Julian Takes a Loss

Percy Julian played against Stanhope Elmore on Thursday and lost via forfeit.

Percy Julian is on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14. As for Stanhope Elmore, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Percy Julian will host Pike County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.57 runs per game on average), something the Phoenix will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Stanhope Elmore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marbury at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
