Mumford lost a heartbreaker the last time they played BVCHEA HomeSchool, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. Mumford's pitchers stepped up to hand BVCHEA HomeSchool a 20-0 shutout on Friday. Mumford might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by seven runs or more this season.

Mumford is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for BVCHEA HomeSchool, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mumford will take on Iola at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for BVCHEA HomeSchool, they will square off against Alpha Omega Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
