Basketball Recap: Algoma Comes Up Short

After flying high against Gibraltar last Monday, Algoma came back down to earth. The Algoma Wolves received a blow on Thursday as they fell 50-36 to the Kewaunee Storm. The Wolves have struggled against the Storm recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Algoma's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Kewaunee, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-4.

Algoma does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kewaunee, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Peshtigo at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
