Volleyball Recap: Morgan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Morgan was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Portland on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huskies lost 3-0 to the East Hampton Bellringers on Monday. The Huskies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bellringers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

While Morgan had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-19.

Emma Teuner paced Morgan's offense, picking up six kills. Teuner got some help from Avery Vece and her eight assists. Aaliyah Langner controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for East Hampton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Morgan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Cromwell on the 10th. As for East Hampton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Old Lyme on the 10th.
