There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. We'll dive into that and more in this week's report.
No Stoppin 'Em
The match between Kamehameha Hawai'i and Kealakehe last week put some strain on the scoreboard; in fact, with a total of 91 final points, it was the highest scoring contest in the power rankings for the week. Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Kealakehe beat Kamehameha Hawai'i 49 - 42. As a result, Kealakehe rose two spots in the power rankings.
Movin on Up
Damien will have a better view of things this week after its strong showing last week propelled it six spots up the power rankings. That was the biggest rise of the week. It narrowly escaped with a win as it sidled past Waipahu 13 - 10. Damien and Waipahu were a much more even match than Damien's previous opponent, giving the fans a heck of a game.
Next Week's Big Game
The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Punahou (3rd in the power rankings) and St. Louis (1st). Both teams are rolling into the game after last-week wins. Only one team will win this week, so we'll see which team fails to repeat its success.
