Blake Steer and Adam Denkert secure win for Kenesaw

The Kenesaw Blue Devils had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They strolled past Franklin with points to spare, taking the game 55-40. That's another feather in the cap for Kenesaw, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Kenesaw was led to victory by Blake Steer and Adam Denkert. Steer scored 13 points along with three steals, while Denkert scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Denkert scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jravin Suck, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.

Kenesaw now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Franklin, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Kenesaw will head out on the road to take on Elm Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Franklin, they will be playing at home against Loomis at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Loomis presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Franklin in Nebraska (Loomis is ranked 125th, while Franklin is ranked 264th).
