            Basketball Recap: Streamwood Sabres vs. Bartlett Hawks        
        
		
        
        
            Streamwood was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight  defeat. 2025 welcomed they with  a  68-42 loss courtesy of the Bartlett Hawks. The Sabres were probably out for revenge after losing  64-35 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

 Despite the loss, Streamwood still got an impressive performance from   Alejandro Flores, who  posted three  points and six  steals. Flores is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed three or more in the last three games he's  played.
Streamwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Bartlett,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-9.
 Streamwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  56-48  victory against Marengo on the 4th. As for Bartlett, they will venture away from home to  challenge Glenbard South  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Bartlett has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
