Adrian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Butler Bears. For the Blackhawks, this counts as revenge for the 7-4 win the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

Kobe Enos was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Adrian let Kale Hastie and Jack Lile run wild. Hastie went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double, while Lile went 3-for-5 with one stolen base and two RBI. Those three hits gave Lile a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elijah Hubbard, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs.

Adrian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 10.4.

Adrian's record is now 10-3. As for Butler, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Adrian will host Versailles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Butler, they will challenge Prairie View at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
