Basketball Recap: South Lake Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mott last Thursday, South Lake came back down to earth. The South Lake Cavaliers took a 51-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marysville Vikings. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2018.

South Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Marysville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-8.

South Lake will challenge Eastpointe at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Marysville, they will welcome Center Line at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Center Line is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.3 points per game this season.
