Basketball Recap: Pleasant Ridge's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Pleasant Ridge can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against the McLouth Bulldogs by a score of 63-50. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 70-38 back in December of 2024.

Pleasant Ridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Wyatt Wilburn, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Brady Mance, who posted 12 points and seven boards.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasant Ridge will venture away from home to face off against Valley Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McLouth, they will head out on the road to square off against Oskaloosa on Tuesday.
