Volleyball Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corry Beavers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Corry, they pushed their record up to 28-0-4 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Northwestern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Portville on the 11th. As for Corry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Cambridge Springs on the 11th.
