Basketball Recap: Clearwater Comes Up Short

Clearwater lost against Arkansas City back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Clearwater Indians opened the new year with a less-than-successful 54-43 loss to the Arkansas City Bulldogs. The defeat leaves the Indians without a win on the season.

Clearwater's record now sits at 0-6. As for Arkansas City, they moved to 1-4 with that win, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Clearwater will be playing in front of their home fans against Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Collegiate will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Clearwater surely won't give up without a fight. As for Arkansas City, they will venture away from home to square off against Goddard at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Arkansas City is facing Goddard at the right time seeing as Goddard is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
