Basketball Recap: Ygnacio Valley Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Ygnacio Valley was the 72-68 winner over Las Lomas when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ygnacio Valley Wolves took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Las Lomas Knights on Friday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Ygnacio Valley still got an impressive performance from Antonio Kellogg Jr, who posted 18 points and five steals. The game was Kellogg Jr's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Jalan Cody was another key player, putting up ten points.

Ygnacio Valley's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for Las Lomas, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Ygnacio Valley has already played their next matchup, a 58-45 loss against Campolindo on the 15th. As for Las Lomas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-53 defeat against Acalanes on the 13th.
