Baseball Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short

Hoover fell victim to Hewitt-Trussville and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 8-0 to the Huskies. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Buccaneers have suffered since February 19th.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Hewitt-Trussville, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-2.

While Hoover had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
