Soccer Recap: Eastland Christian Comes Up Short

Eastland Christian managed to keep up with The Rock until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Eastland Christian Hurricanes lost 4-1 to The Rock Lions. The Hurricanes have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meetings.

Eastland Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for The Rock, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastland Christian will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Riverbend Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Rock, a feisty cat fight will be fought as The Rock duke it out with Cornerstone Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 13th.
