Soccer Recap: Ursuline Takes a Loss

Ursuline had taken Salem down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Fighting Irish fell just short of the Quakers by a score of 2-1. Ursuline were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Salem apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Ursuline's goal came courtesy of Zayne Alayon, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Ursuline and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Salem, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Ursuline is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Harding at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Salem, they will face off against Boardman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
