Baseball Recap: Eight Straight Home Victories for Lamar Christian

Lamar Christian hadn't done well against Prairie View Academy recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lions came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 12-9. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Spartans on Tuesday, they had to take a 8-7 defeat.

Lamar Christian let DJ Parhm and Waylon Parker run wild. Parhm got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs, while Parker went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Parker has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Dallas Parker, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games.
