Basketball Recap: Roselle Park Comes Up Short

Roselle Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 48-38 to the Dayton Bulldogs. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dayton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lucas Antonio, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Antonio has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last five times he's played. Nicky Perez was another key player, putting up four points and six steals.

Roselle Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Dayton, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Roselle Park has already played their next match, a 57-37 loss against Roselle on the 23rd. As for Dayton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 50-14 defeat against Johnson on the 23rd.
