Recap: West Brook Bruins vs. Shadow Creek Sharks
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the West Brook Bruins had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 50-35 victory over the Sharks. Winning may never get old, but West Brook sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Ashton Simmons was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Keion Irvin, who scored 14 points.
West Brook has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-11 record this season. As for Shadow Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 31-3.
West Brook will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Beaumont United at 7:00 p.m. on February 27th.
