Recap: Bayshore Christian Eagles vs. McIntosh Demons

The Bayshore Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 55-32 defeat at the hands of McIntosh. While losing is never fun, Bayshore Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 366th, while McIntosh is ranked 111th).

It was another big night for Brittney Reed Jr. , who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds for McIntosh. The contest was Reed Jr. 's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dristen Sullivan, who scored nine points along with five assists and four steals.

Bayshore Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for McIntosh, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Bayshore Christian will head out on the road to face off against Fruitdale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McIntosh, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Leroy at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th.
