After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spearville, Satanta was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 56-46 victory over the Pawnee Heights Tigers. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Defeat or not, Pawnee Heights got some senior leadership from Clayton Hammeke and Brady Carlson. Hammeke almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine boards, while Carlson went 5 of 9 to rack up 11 points and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hammeke has scored all season.

Satanta picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-13. As for Pawnee Heights, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-16.

Satanta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 55-19 win against Moscow on the 11th. As for Pawnee Heights, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-36 defeat against Deerfield on the 11th.
