Soccer Recap: Rochester Takes a Loss

Rochester and Northwestern combined for 16 shots on goal on Thursday, which explains the impressive ten total goals scored. The Zebras lost 7-3 to the Tigers. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Rochester were already down 5-2.

They hit Northwestern with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Grant Bailey, Jonas Kiser, and Taya Tindi.

This is the second loss in a row for Rochester and nudges their season record down to 2-6-1. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two contests. As for Northwestern, their win bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Rochester has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Peru on the 15th. As for Northwestern, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-2 victory against Indianapolis Shortridge on the 13th.
