Softball Recap: Gulf Breeze Takes a Loss

Gulf Breeze was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-4 to the Northview Chiefs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dolphins of the 14-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Gulf Breeze's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Northview, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gulf Breeze will square off against Tate at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northview, they will face off against West Florida at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
