It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pittsfield can now relate to. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Macomb Bombers on Tuesday. The Saukees' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
 Pittsfield was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Macomb work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19,  28-26.
 Macomb can attribute much of their success to  Emily Westerhold, who  had 11  digs and two  aces. Westerhold is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's  played.  Cadence Hotz also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first assist of the season.
Pittsfield's defeat dropped their record down to 22-13. As for Macomb, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-14 record  this season.
As of now, neither Pittsfield nor Macomb have any future games scheduled.
